Going back to Vogüé, you will pass by Saint Maurice d'Ardèche where the Romanesque church opens its doors from 9 am to 5 pm for a free visit.
Let's continue towards Balazuc
Going back up the greenway, you can make a detour to Balazuc, a small medieval village classified as one of the "most beautiful villages in France".
Go to the village where you will find a special parking lot for bicycles where you can secure them and leave them safely. All that's left to do is to wander through the streets of this atypical village.
To (re)discover the village of Balazuc and its history, you can count on the Museum of Ardeche - Fossils and Dinosaurs. During the whole weekend they propose different formulas at 50% off. Information and reservation on their website .

The detour of Lanas
Once is not customary we invite you to move away a little from the Via Ardèche to go to Lanas.
Saturday 17, at 3 pm at the Romanesque church, Claire Lacroix offers you a free guided tour of Old Lanas. She will take you to discover the medieval Lanas, located on the edge of the Ardèche, which was fortified in 1428 and has kept all its architectural character: narrow streets, vaults and doors with remarkable lintels.

Finishing in beauty in Vogüé

Last step of our "European Heritage Days" tour: Vogüé.
This medieval village located between the cliff and the Ardèche river will surprise you. Here is the program of the weekend to find on the site of the commune
- Saturday, September 17: The Municipality organizes visits of the town hall as well as the garden of the Cure from 10 am to 12 am and from 2 pm to 4 pm.
- Sunday, September 18: The association Sauvons le Petit Patrimoine invites you to visit the chapel La Gleyzette. Alice Lacour, photographer and writer, will present a photo exhibition and her books on the theme of Romanesque chapels in Ardèche, from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm.
At the Château de Vogüé https://www.chateaudevogue.net/agenda.php, open from 10 am to 7 pm every day, the association Vivante Ardèche programs historical guided tours throughout the weekend. You will be able to admire the current exhibition "Imaginary journeys".
You will also find at the tourist office a document realized by the children of the school to discover freely the heritage of Vogué : dolmens, quarry, chapel, ...
