At Ma Balade à Vélo, some rentals include breakage and theft insurance so that customers can enjoy their outing with complete peace of mind.
This warranty is included in:
– Premium electric bikes
– Classic adult bikes
– Electric bikes for children
It covers certain incidents that may occur during the rental period, subject to compliance with the terms and conditions of use of the equipment.
How the warranty works
The breakage and theft warranty covers certain incidents that may occur while using the bike during the rental period.
It can cover, in particular:
– accidental damage to the bicycle
– theft of rented equipment
– certain incidents occurring during normal use of the equipment
For the warranty to apply, certain conditions must be met, including the use of the locks provided and compliance with the rules for using the equipment.
Insurance management
The warranty is offered through Tulip, a platform specializing in insurance for rented equipment.
Insurance policies are taken out and managed via the Tulip platform.
Ma Balade à Vélo offers this guarantee to its customers but is not involved in the management of insurance contracts. Claims and the processing of files are handled by the insurer.
In the event of a claim
If an incident occurs during your rental:
1. Immediately notify the Ma Balade à Vélo team.
2. You will be provided with the information you need to file a claim.
3. The claim will then be filed and processed by the insurer via the Tulip platform.
